Homer Alvan Rodeheaver was an acclaimed evangelist, musician, and philanthropist whose philosophy was "It is better to build boys than to mend men." He had an ambitious dream of providing a proper home for needy boys in a safe, healthy environment.

Since 1995, Rodeheaver Foundation has embraced the dream of Homer Rodeheaver by supporting his namesake, Rodeheaver Boys Ranch. Come, visit, and join us in helping perpetuate Homer's dream.

Providing Children with Roots to Become Thriving Adults

Our Mission

Our mission is nurturing children in a safe Christian environment, providing the roots to become thriving adults. We believe that how we care for children, protect their well-being, and prepare them for the future are some of the most important issues we face during our lifetime.

It is better to build boys than to mend men.
